Who Controls Your Life -
You or Spirit?
by Aeptha
Someone
shared with me recently that now that his personal life is under control,
he does not want to do anything to jeopardize that. He is afraid that
if he takes his hands off the reins for just a second, he will get
lost in the mystical world and his life will fall apart.
Let
me give you a different perspective to consider. I was living an ordinary
life. I was very contained and very, very careful. I also thought
that I would not go too far into the Spirit world because I could
slip into an abyss. What I need to share is that it is just the opposite.
You think that going further into the wormhole will rock you and take
you to an unbalanced place. The world tells you that this is the case.
What I had to get past, and what you are facing now, is the perception
that Spirit would betray you, that Spirit would push you into a place
of imbalance. It is just the opposite. Spirit saved me from slipping
into unreality; this is what Spirit does. It will give you the bridge
so that you can operate in the unreal world and still know what is
real and act accordingly.
We
tend to approach the mystical in the same way as our outer world,
like a job with rules and expectations of others and ourselves. It
is a curious thing because the same rules that make us successful
in the world aren't necessarily the same things that work in the mystical,
magical realm. The bottom line is that what we have been raised upon
is ego. Whether you are super responsible, or you just slide by, it
is still ego that is in control. We are being pushed up against it
in so many ways. The question asked is, "Is this what I want
to do?" The implication of want is part of the patterning we
brought into this lifetime: rooms of consciousness that we know and
tend to automatically transfer over to the work we are doing with
Spirit. It doesn't work. It doesn't fit, and even if it seems to work
for a short time, after a while it is uncomfortable. Spirit is suggesting
that we take a new pathway that tells us the steps to take to work
in this vastness and be effective.
It
is not the doing part that is exhausting and overwhelming. It is in
trying to control. That is where the exhaustion and the feeling of
being overwhelmed come from. It is a belief, a pathway, a conditioning
that you have to be "in control;" you have to be "in
charge." You have to be "a leader" with all of the
control energies around you. What Spirit is saying to you is that
you are to give the control to Spirit, then your "doing"
will be with much less effort. The energy that it will take to do
a task in this way will be very different from the energy that it
will take if you are trying to be in control of the task. Letting
go of control sounds really good on paper but goes against the very
sense of how you have survived, how you have stayed alive, how you
have kept yourselves safe, physically, emotionally and mentally. And
yet, that same control that served you growing up, is the control
that now separates you from contact with Spirit. You cannot possibly
bear the weight of Spirit if you seek to be in control. It will crush
you, not because Spirit is a crushing force, but because when you
seek to control Spirit, you are going counter-evolutionary. For whose
will is it that you seek to impose?
What
you are turning your back upon is that which is, in truth, Spirit,
your ark. You must embrace Spirit totally. Drink from the cup without
fear and without doubt. The deeper you drink, the more you take it
into a cellular level, the more you will go out there and do things
that you cannot conceive of otherwise. I do not mean this lightly;
I mean this with absolute truth. You will have more energy in every
area of your life. If you stay plugged into Spirit, there is endless
energy; there is endless time. It is when you turn your back that
suddenly you will feel compressed and repressed. To be successful
in life, it isn't that you need to turn your back; it is that you
need to embrace Spirit more.
This
is your destiny, every one of you. Do not turn from it; do not fear
the expansion. Do not doubt it. Do not look to the physical world
to satisfy your needs or wants or desires because it never will. It
is the great deceiver, and yet you must live in the physical world
just as Jeshua did. You must be in the world but not of the world.
People will come and seek you out, trying to understand what you know
and do, and why you do what you do. You do not need to proselytize
because you will resonate and plant seeds by your eyes, by your breath,
by your energies, and by your presence. Move through the wormhole.
Without Spirit you cannot bridge both worlds, and you will stand as
one adrift with no place upon which to rest your feet. Spirit is the
umbilical cord that will nurture, strengthen and help you to bridge
and sustain life and love and light and illumination.
