The Power of Need - The Love of Need
by Aeptha

There is nothing that is not divine, so even what we call neediness, be it emotional, physical, mental or spiritual is not a bad thing. The difficulty is perhaps in how we see that need, the pathway that we walk down to the need, and the way in which we see that pattern of neediness. It is an area of mind that is familiar. It is a response. You need more time so you go down the pathway that says, “Ok, let me pull out my day-timer and see where I can work it in”. I need…I need…It is a need dynamic. A different understanding of needs is taking us into silent and not so silent rooms in our house and in our heart where our hopes, our dreams, our fears, our needs, our beliefs, our perceptions, our weariness and the world’s weariness reside.

I have two voices, the Aeptha voice and the Spirit voice. I will share them both with you. The Aeptha voice says let’s march in and conquer those rooms. The other voice, perhaps of Spirit, has said ever so gently, lovingly and softly,

“Settle in like the sweet dew into the roof and rest gently with your need, caress it, love it, feel it. You know how it is that you collect that of which you call your flower essence? Make your need into an essence and then drink it. Do not separate yourself from it and when you do so you will go behind the mirror. For what your need is reflecting to you is not what is there at all. Your needs are like the petals of the flower. You may see it as beautiful or withered, it matters not. It is a part of the flower but it is not the entire flower. You may travel through the stem and into the roots and there you will know where it is in truth that the need resides. And you will feed it and it will become the vine that will bear the fruit of the Christ - that will bear the fruit of the Christ.

Why is it that what you know of as "The Christ" was called?  Was it not the result of the cause of the needs? Hear this formula. Do you hear what is being said to you? Every one of you has been aching with a need. Listen to me. The need that has filled your gut, the need - your need, every one of you - your needs, you stay at the top of it. The energy is here to take you through the stem and into the roots, for the top is like the flower of lotus and the root is deep. Then you can take and use the energy of that need, for it was from need that the Christ came forth. Jeshua and others had to come into body so that they could know the needs of the earth and all sentient life. They had to know the need, for in their realm they do not have needs in the way that sentient life does in this form. It was a call of the need, of the blood.

Don’t back away from your need because it feels like an abyss to you. That is why you cover it up, that is why you back away from it, that’s why you call it hopeless, impossible. Your joy is a need. Need is not just in terms of what we call negative. Don’t go there; don’t get caught in that trap. Your joy is a need because it is a doorway for you, a beautiful petal that is soft and caresses you. Slide into it and down the stem; the energy will take you into the roots.”
