Orders of the Grail Quest:

The Arthurian Legend and the Orders of the Grail Quest are part of vast, vast body of work with often times conflicting stories and accounts. They are an intermeshing of many different thoughts and traditions that have gone through many different hands and translations. They have been brought up in The Spear of Destiny in relationship to the Spear and the thought process that went into the fascination with the Spear and the association of it with the Grail. We know that the Grail Quest is associated with an initiatory process and the gathering of power. Whether power is used for good or evil is a secondary consequence. Held in the Arthurian mysteries are tremendous understandings. They are like a deck of Tarot, which you can spend your whole life studying to gain understanding. It is an understanding of the relationship with the Divine Feminine and with the form world. It describes our initiatory process in the world of form.

Percivale Legend:

Percivale is raised by his mother in a forest. He is not very worldly. One day some knight from the round table come into the forest and he thinks they are angels. He tells his mother that he is leaving to follow the angels. His mother doesn’t want this but realizes he is of age, so she consents. But first she dresses him in some ridiculous clothing, telling him that this is what all the knight wear. Secondly she tells him that he is never to ask any question because this is rude. She is hoping that Percivale makes such a fool of himself that he has to come home. Sure enough he looks foolish but he doesn’t even realize this. He makes his way to the Grail castle where the wounded king lies. He sees the Grail Procession with the Grail Cup and the Spear. The king is brought out on a litter. Percivale never asks a question because he does not want to be rude. In the end everyone is furious and he is sent from the castle. There are several understandings in this. In the first one Percivale is like the Fool in the Tarot cards in that he has a level of purity in relationship with the world. He is starting out as innocence and purity. In this arena Percivale has an advantage, but part of the responsibility of the journey is the acquiring of experience so that experience can become knowledge. Percivale does not ask the king about his wound or does he ask how he can help. By not asking that question he is expressing a lack of recognition that the wounded king is himself, a lack of recognition of connectedness, of the humanity and compassion. It is the energy of not becoming involved, of disinterest. Where does the mother fit in all of this? From the archetypal standpoint often the women in these stories carry an energy of the relationship of the Divine Feminine with the evolution of humanity. Every time the knights go into the forests they get into trouble. Why? What does a forest symbolize? The forest is the place in which experience occurs, the place of potentiality, the place of the world. What happens in the Tarot card? The fool is stepping of the cliff, falling into the world of form. The forest is the place of the beginnings of the world of form. It is the place that is not civilized the place of possibilities. The mother in this case has taken Perceivale into a place of unformed possibilities. This is the gift of the Divine Feminine. She gives the possibilities but she cannot make the choice. In this pristine state there is the potentiality for all things and also the potentiality for nothing. What happens to the womb every month if there is not a baby, it sheds and rebuilds the potentiality for the next month? The forest carries the potentiality for everything and for nothing. Hence Percivale has this space for potential and choices are made or not made. The knight could have gone through and Percivale could have missed the whole scene. And the Divine Feminine seems to have given Percivale some difficult advice. She also told him that if he saw a woman he was to kiss her, so Percivale is jumping on every woman he sees. This does not meet with approval in courtly ways. What she creates for Percivale is another level of potentiality. She gives him the "outer garments of expression" which are the ill-fitting clothes, which will challenge how he views himself in relation to what those around him see. Does he see himself as he is or is he under the influence of what other people think they see? Percivale has enough of a sense of self that he is not under the influence of other people’s images. She gave him that possibility. He kisses a married woman whose husband accuses her of being untrue. Percivale then goes on a series of adventures to rectify what he has created. He has a choice to recognize the consequence even if from ignorance to follow through with right action to create change. Again a gift of his mother; she gave him that potentiality. Not asking questions is the gift of the "veil of forgetfulness" because if we knew what we had done we would go quite mad. So she gifts him with a form of separation by not asking questions, by not connecting himself. In the beginning when he goes to the castle he is not prepared when a woman comes and tells him, "had he but asked the king could have been healed". Again, he can make a choice to go forward and experience. What propels him the most is the death of his mother. The death of the relationship with matter represents the movement of consciousness to a different level in its relationship with form and matter because death is transformation.

The other piece with Percivale is that he carries the bloodline of a king and queen who lost their castle. The king was killed in the forest while following the questing beast. The questing beast is that which is hunted for the sake of the quest. When you are in an adventure for the sake of the adventure eventually you get lost. This is what happened to this king. Quest for the sake of quest. It is loosing the focus and becoming involved in the process and getting caught in all of the trappings forgetting what you were going for. This questing thirst can never be fulfilled.

Bloodline

Although the Arthurian stories were written around 1100, many are making references to much earlier times including pre-Christianity around 400 and 500 BC. If you look at the women in these stories the inference is that they carried the bloodline from the Atlantean times. Hence their children both male and female had an aspect of that Atlantean ability. The men were said to have come from royal bloodlines, what is referenced here is the Priest Kings of the land. They had the ability to carry the powers and potencies of this Atlantean genetic coding. The mass of people were operating from mass consciousness, not from a level of individuality. We look at genetic engineering and say what a terrible thing, but there were those who moved between the worlds who did just that. This is where we get the myths of the sons of God mating with the daughters of earth. An example is the myths around Merlin who with his slight of hand helped to create such magical children as Arthur. These were not just myths. This was a time that there was genetic manipulations in order to help humanity make its next step in evolution to bring into the life stream certain levels of capacity. What came out of the Atlantean time and was being held and encoded, and which we see in Arthur as a symbol of many who carried those energies, is an ability not only to think and have a sense of individuality but also to have telepathy. The Priest King and the Priest Queens had the ability to operate between the worlds. They had the ability to receive communications from those beings on the other side and to put that communication in practice in the world. Therefore they were incredible leaders of their people. They had the ability to bring magic to the land and had a level of communication that ordinary people did not have access to. They were the oracles, the gods, the priests. Solomon is another who had this capacity. He carried that lineage. This capacity was always being "tweaked" so to speak. The legends tell of this "tweaking of energies" so that (these energies) would do the most good for the most people. Like any other energies they can also be misused, as did Morgan la Fay who was Arthur’s half sister. Arthur’s mother was an Atlantean priestess. So the three daughters from Arthur’s mother who carried the three aspects of the Goddess, including Morgan la Fay, all carried that Atlantean bloodline. Morgan la Fay inverted the power and used it for her personal ambition rather than for the greater good. But that power is what they are referring to when they speak of the royal bloodline. It is a veil that held an understanding that these bloodlines were being used to elevate humanity and genetically shift, in the human race, those strands of DNA that could result in all of humanity ultimately reaching its highest potential to be the Christed ones. These are powerful understandings. These Atlantean priests and priestesses were being put into marriages that would result in the best possible genetics coming together. Hence we have all of these heroes. The other side is that these energies could be inverted and there could be creations such as Mordred who expresses the anti-Christ energy. There were kings and queens who carry the energy of the "Faye" people, like the Lady of the Lake who were more like the fairy folk. The veils were so thin when these stories were emerging, so that there was access between the worlds. Morgan la Fay was married to a king who was half human and half elemental. Why do we need to know this? There are keys to the conscious awakening of this magic, which is what the Arthurian Knight and the Grail Quest is about. We want to awaken these keys within us. Within our chain of DNA are codings and these codons are the keys. When we turn the codons the gene inside is activated. There are keys to understandings that unlock doors and get these genes on line.

Ultimately the Grail Quest was not successful. Of the three who had contact with the Grail, one transcended, one went to become the Grail guardian in the empty castle until the Grail was returned, and the third returned to tell his countrymen that they had found the Grail and did not bring it back with them. Subsequently, all were killed. The Grail Quest was not successful because the Grail could not transcend the world and be brought back for all. While it touched three (the triune energy), its potentiality was held in the consciousness of humanity. It was not brought back for all of humanity to drink of the cup. What is implied in the energies of the three who had contact with the Grail Cup is their DNA coding, the ability to hold a genetic encoding.

Deep Mysteries of the Sea:

There was a deep understanding working with the tremendous, primal, cosmic seas from which all life emerged, prior to the solar pulse and the solar gods who were birthed from the primal nothingness. It is before the emergence of the stars and planets and sun. It came into matter as what became know as the deep mysteries of the sea. It was the pillars of water and the pillars of fire, Jaciam and Boaz that stood in the doorway going into the temple of Solomon. There were actually pillars of energies that were placed and held in the very core of our system. They have manifested in our external world as powers and potencies. We are talking about energies of cosmic creation that are so powerful and so potent and very primal. They exist for the sake of creation and in creation is destruction. They go hand and hand, no difference, the very building blocks of matter. These sea mysteries came down to us as fables, but they are held in the very ancient recesses of the esoteric teachings. They come down to us through the Star Lords. These cosmic currents were moving before the very birth of the sun. There was a remnant that was still in place in Atlantean time. It was no accident that Atlantis was submerged. These solar temples came into being because humanity did not have the capacity or the wisdom to handle such power and potencies. The solar temples came to bring illumination into that which is dark, and do not make the foolishness of thinking of dark as evil. It is time for the dark and the light to be merged. This ties in with the understanding of many who have explored the role of the matriarchal in relationship to the patriarchal and sense for some that the goddesses were misused, misunderstood and put down. Do not be arrogant; you do not have that kind of power. The wisdom was such that these forces and powers were veiled. Hence you have the stories of the Veils of Isis and others. Indeed the veiling of her because of choice not because of something that you have even the remotest capacity to do or not do. So it is in the sea of life that new life emerges as it were and part of the understanding of these mysteries was that of the creation of new life, which of course means the destruction of old. You are seeing genetic engineering in your time. While you may look upon it with great concern, perhaps reasonably so from your perspective. What is being touched upon in a very primitive way is that of what was understood by those who held the keys at least in part to the great sea mysteries that go back to the very seas of creation itself. The fire and water are destined to come together. The seas of creation will be illumined with the light of fire. (In the path working this morning) when you walked into the temple and held as conduits the fire and water and third was created, that is ultimately the destiny of humanity. What these stories tell of, veiled and distorted as they are, they hold the seed of truth and of potentiality that are being impregnated within your very consciousness to grow or to be cast out by you. More ancient than even the most ancient of your goddesses. I would remind you of the god form you call Neptune who indeed was recognized as ancient. Neptune held that of the trident with its three spears, which is the symbol of fire. In that symbol of Neptune’s you have a glimpse of an understanding that was already being foretold-when fire and water rejoin. This is why you will see such an interaction with the fairy folk. The Faye as it were had a great interest in assisting this process. Many, using your terminology, are trapped here.

On one level the pulling of the sword from the stone was a symbol of the higher will overcoming matter. The Lady of the Lake forged Excalibur. Excalibur carried with it the essence of the power of that world. Specifically what Excalibur is working with is the power of polarities. One of Merlin’s warnings to Arthur was always to keep Excalibur in the scabbier, the sheet. That he had to have both and not to pull it from the sheathing until ready to use it. What is behind the mystery of use of the sword and sheath is the understanding of the use of polarities. Much of what is seen in these mysteries is around vertical and horizontal polarities and the use of these polarities in relationship to creation. On one level the pulling out of Excalibur is the overcoming of the lower will to that of the higher will. On another level it is with the proper of the vertical polarity one has control and power over the horizontal polarity, which means one has control and power over the four elements. And if you have control and power over the four elements you have mastery over not only yourself but over the manifest world. There is story upon story of the use of these polarities. There is a lot of Christian morality that was imposed on these deep esoteric understandings. Guinevere and Lancelot is one example. Lancelot did not get to the Grail because of his supposed "illicit" affair with Guinevere. In actuality, it was because Arthur was raised in the "Faye".

When you start to go along the path you no longer dismiss inner level messages by projection. You don’t dismiss them and you don’t assimilate them in the way you did prior to (stepping on the path). For instance if I have a communication that comes in from the inner levels and I am in my consciousness holding the recognition of a communication, then the way that I will dismiss it is by projecting into my world by creating a song on the radio and I will get the message this way. I will dismiss it from the true source and project it onto another source. I will take circumstances and things around me to bring that message to me. In other words it becomes part of my mundane world. I will probably distort that message until it becomes condensed and distilled into something that I can accept. But I will not acknowledge the true source and I will not hold to the clarity of the true source. It will be condensed into a material connection and never refer back to its true source. It will remain in the horizontal polarity. The vertical is there but instead of connecting consciously with it, you are dismissing it. This occurs for many, many lifetimes until you begin to move into the path of initiation and you then begin to connect with the vertical. What happens then is you become what some would perceive as dissociated, not a hundred percent there. You are not; you are spanning the worlds. In some cases it also creates a level of impersonality. To bring this back to Arthur, because he did hold the space between the worlds because of his bloodline, there was also a level of distance, dispassion and a separation with life. He was considered cold, aloof. That was part of the relationship with Guinevere. The result of that coldness, aloofness and inability to connect with the earth was that no children were produced out of this joining of the priest king and the priestess queen. It was barren and the polarity was not successfully joined. This was the esoteric understanding that while he was able to perform his function to a certain point, the joining was not completed. Obviously, we are talking symbolism here, but the joining was not completed. The inference is that because of his "Faye-ness". There was an earlier mating with Arthur and his half-sister, while unknowingly, and there was a withdrawing of his energies as a result. So, Guinevere would not have been able to fulfill her role as the queen with just Arthur’s input. So Lancelot fulfills that. A lot of the energy of the round table was as a result of Guinevere. She was the queen of that castle and her role was necessary. The polarity was complete with her and Lancelot but the problem was that both of them got caught up in it. Gawain became jealous of Lancelot’s relationship with other women. So she was stepping out of purity of that understanding. It was no longer a magical practice, it became a human one. Lancelot became infatuated with Guinevere and lost sight of the higher (connection). But the act itself, the coming together sexually of these vertical and horizontal energies was purposeful magically in relation to the story of the initiatory process. It was not until later when it was being rewritten by the monks that Guinevere dies in a nunnery after going there to repent for having an illicit affair. Lancelot goes to a monastery with nine other knights. Hear the symbolism in this powerful, powerful energy. Guinevere is still the queen; she is holding the queen energy and being guarded by ten knights while she is in her decline. The reference is to the ten sephiroth. Here in lies the magical formula; she was a carrier of the understanding of the great mysteries of the sea. She brought in, along with the other maidens, and impregnated through concepts and ideals and through the group mind. When it was her time to eclipse she was held by the ten surrounding her. Lancelot loved Arthur deeply and dearly, Arthur being symbolic ultimately the "wounded king", but he loved the potentiality that was there. And he held that even to the place that when Arthur lost his steed in battle, Lancelot gave his horse to Arthur and fought on foot. The steed is symbolic of many things, but one of the things that it is associated with is will. The truth is that Arthur did not have a problem with Lancelot and Guinevere. It was known. The one who brought in the energies to bring this into a critical mass was Mordred, purposefully, very purposefully. Arthur was fulfilling his function to a point, but began to withdraw more and more into the other worlds prior to his death by Mordred. The way in which that manifested was in signs such as his not being able to connect with Guinevere as the Earth Mother and later when the Grail is presented and he sees the power of the Grail. What he sees there is the body of Jesus being held up by the "Hermit", but he himself does not pursue the Grail. He sends his knights to pursue it. He has distanced himself to the place where he is no longer an active part of the world. He becomes the withdrawn king. There are three grades here. The Grade of Arthur is by sword and that is the understanding of polarities that was spoken of previously. There is the Grade of Merlin, which is by a scepter, wand or rod of power. The third grade, which is by a cup, is called the Grade of Guinevere. These three grades represent the three lower mysteries because they are all associated with mastery of the elemental nature, mystery of the form world. All of these are associated with the elements. Then the next grade of mysteries are called the higher mysteries associated with the Grail Cup. These are the transcendent mysteries that are beyond the worlds. So, in relationship to the grades, Arthur is the energies of most initiates, those who are trying to act with chivalry, trying to do good, to wield the sword of truth, trying to act in right action in this world of duality. These concepts of chivalry were entrenched in the group mind. On another level it was the Sword of Power trying to balance the worlds of polarity with the vertical and the horizontal. It is the understanding of the use of the vertical polarity as well as the horizontal polarity, which is a way of working with energies.

The second Grade in the Grade of Mysteries is the Merlin grade by scepter, wand or rod of power. This is the next grade in which those who are tested and found worthy obtain the wisdom behind the code of chivalry and service and they become knowledgeable in the use of the invisible forces. One still has the Grade of Arthur, but it is taken to a different level in the Grade of Merlin. Here you begin to move into the field of the uses of the invisible forces and where the group soul may be stimulated. Much of what Merlin was doing was around the stimulating of the group soul. There is where he brought together these "genetically engineered beings" to affect the group mind and the group bloodline. It is about the bigger (picture). This is the three guanas, the tatmis, the raja, and the sattma. The guanas are all associated with the mastery of form and all are different levels of the mastery of form also. The first level with Arthur is the mastery of form using the vertical and horizontal. It is the four-armed cross. It is mastery of the four cardinal directions. It is mastery of the four elements. That is the truest, deepest level of understanding of horizontal and vertical where you take the physical and transform (it). The next level in the Grade of Merlin you have those who are beginning to walk in between the worlds and rare of this world simultaneously. In our terminology, they are those who carry the "Indwellers", those who work with the invisible ones not to effect change in individuals, but of the group. They are working for the seeding of the consciousness in the group and the seeding of change in matter for all life. That is the Grade of Merlin, the Initiator, the Rod of Power. Then we have the Grade of Guinevere, the Cup, "for those who can dispel the magnetic links between individuals and groups. This knowledge and power springs from a deep understanding of polarity and that key of all practical occult work, the forces of the aura. This entails not only the human aura, but that of all crated beings including the earth and land itself and the solar and other celestials powers." There is an inference of a gaining of mastery over the powers associated with the Sea of Life, the Sea of All Life, Solar, Stellar as well as the powers of Illumination-the powers of Fire, the powers of Mind, the powers of Spirit in form. These energies that are associated not only with the mastery of the levels of the form world, but in that mastery also the wisdom and knowledge, the ability to actually shift, to move, to magically change form itself and the consciousnesses that are held in form. The greater mysteries are in relation to the Grail Quest because they are the mysteries of transcendence. The Grail is about transubstantiation, when alchemically spirit and matter are joined and therefore you have not only moved beyond matter, you have taken matter with you. An example is those masters who go into a tent, which is sewn shut. A rainbow appears overhead and three days later all that is found are fingernails and hair because they have transubstantiated. They have taken matter with them. That is what Jesus did. They have transformed it into a Body of Light. This is the mastery of the Grail, the higher mysteries. When you take those elements to a higher level, then you have changed the consciousness of all elementals. There is a potential blessing for the kingdom of domesticated animals like the dog is that in their association with the love of human beings the whole dog consciousness is elevated. It is said that there are four animals that have this unique relationship with human beings, the elephant, the dog, the ox and the horse. The reason being that these four animals in particular has a unique relationship of service with human beings. This is the mystery of the magical act of the Eucharist where the taking of the host and the taking of the wine is the transubstantiation into the Body and Blood of the Christ, Spirit and matter coming together. The transubstantiation in the Grail is the higher mystery is that you and your spirit are merged, transformed and ascend. That is why in the Grail mysteries that Gawain whose father is Lancelot and his mother is an enchantress whom Lancelot thinks is Guinevere, but is part of the group of the Lady of the Lake. Again we have a touch of "genetic engineering". When Gawain attends the Grail mass, he is allowed into the altar and actually transcends with the Grail. The second knight who has access to the Grail is Percivale, who does not come back to matter, but becomes the King of the Grail Castle, the Keeper of the space until the Grail returns once again to humanity. Borus does not participate in the Grail Mass, but comes back to tell the tale. He is the "human" Grail Knight, married with children.

The other thing we want to associate with the Knights of the Round Table is equality, the notion that everybody sits equally at the table. But in truth, the Round Table had its hierarchy. Arthur’s kingdom was becoming a wasteland, and the people were looking around for someone who could identify with them. The Knights saw themselves as one, while Mordred championed the individual. The energies of Mordred were similar to those of Hitler. Both identified themselves with the material desires of the people. Hitler was like a "savior god" to the German people who were feeling the loss of identity given the current economic situation. Everything was falling apart around them and they were looking for a "savior". The only thing that stopped both Mordred and Hitler was magical intervention.

Savior Gods and the Manichaean Doctrine:

There is a pattern called the "Widow’s Son" we see this with Horus, with Jesus, with all of the Sun Gods. They are born without an earthly father. This ties in with the females in the Arthurian Legends that hold the connection between the worlds. Taking this into the Sophiac mysteries and the Gnostic understandings of the Great Sea Mysteries, Sophia sacrificed herself. She separated herself to hold this space in matter, so that the Spark could be encased. If there is no container, there can be no God birthed into the world. The understanding is that she agreed to hold this fatal flaw until all were redeemed, so that all could know themselves as "Savior Gods", so that all could evolve. In this reference here Jehovah did not honor the power, the gift, the love, the sacrifice of Sophia. This was the greatest heresy of all according to the Manichean that Jehovah was not God because he dismissed the gift of the Mother. Jehovah was a tribal god, a Patriarchal God that denied the power of the Divine Feminine and the Mysteries of Creation. When the Divine Spark was sent forth, it did not know itself other than Divine. In order to know itself it had to manifest as "separated". The first swarm sent forth by the Creator was the Lords of Flame. They were the Divine Sparks that went forth but were unable to complete their mission because they simply "were". Hence the Lords of Form were called forth. They were to build forms such as planets and stars so that there could be something for these sparks to flow into and experience itself as separate and yet part of the whole. Yet there could be no consciousness because there was no mind. Hence the Lords of Mind were called forth to build a mind so that consciousness could be obtained through experiences. As this process of evolution occurred from the standpoint of a human being, for this spark to have a sense of separation and to re-identify itself back to the Source, the Prodigal Son, there had to be this form in the world and thus there had to be separation. This is what is called the "fatal flaw" and it is associated with the matriarchal line. Held within the gift of form was enough of a difference from the Creator that it could hold form. From the standpoint of the development of humanity, this had to be. The Goddess purposely moved back, She was not a victim (of Patriarchy).
