I would like for us to start out by taking a moment to just attune ourselves to this space. We acknowledge the presence of the masters of wisdom, the teacher of teachers. We open ourselves to guidance; we open ourselves in love. Let us remove the veils that it is timely that they would be rent that we would enter into the sacred of sacreds, that in so doing we know ourselves as sacred. And so we calm the physical body; we calm the stormy seas of our emotions that they would reflect that of truth. We open our higher mind that we would join in union with that of the greater mind. And so this action now begins. Amen. Amen. Amen.

I would like to ask you why there are procedures, protocols associated with magical work. Why have that? If everything is sacred, why are there certain ways of doing things that are called on unique to and adjunct to moving into ritual?

I took this into meditation because if we were going to be doing something, there should be a reason. What I was hearing was that we talk about unity a great deal. We talk about at-one-ment, a consciousness of at-one-ment, a lack of separation, and it is something that many would say we are striving to reach, a consciousness where there is no separation. I was reminded that was, of course, how we started in the evolutionary cycle, in a consciousness of at-one-ment. It pulled down through the levels and ultimately became a tribal consciousness. There was a group consciousness. As we got further into form, it became more coalesced, and we have talked about bringing in the spark of individualization so people would have a sense of identity, a sense of self-identity that then led to the possibility for the upward return. We look around nature, and we see that while we all recognize that everything that is in nature is all of the same in the truest substance, it is multi-differentiated. So if we look at what nature is reflecting to us, we look at the wisdom of the form world that says in order to know, you must first differentiate.

Because you cannot make conscious choice until you know what it is to be separated and until you know what it is you are choosing. So we see this wisdom reflected in matter, wisdom of differentiation reflected here including in ourselves because it is only through differentiation that allows for you to make choice, conscious choice, as opposed to mass group consciousness, individualized choice, the use of will that we were speaking of earlier that you will then move back into a consciousness of group consciousness, but you will not go back to what it was before. You will bring with you all of the experiences of differentiation.

There is a wisdom in this, and there has been a wisdom held since the most ancient of times about ceremony, and about bringing ceremony, and about bringing ritual into all aspects of life; but with a point of focus so that it would direct the energy with intention, and there were rituals set up for agriculture, rituals set up for pro-creation of the species, rituals that were set up for birth and death, for the rising of the sun, the noon day sun, the setting of the sun, the place of the midnight sun. Ceremony and ritual is a container; it is a container that provides the space where the alchemical formula can be enacted. We will be working with you, teaching you, sharing with you, and you will be sharing with us a particular vehicle, vehicles of ceremony, of ritual. There are many.

When we speak of our mission statement, we recognize and honor all of the traditions. They are like the rays of the sun. There is that from which they came, and they bring a particular point of light out. We also recognize that we have made choice to take a ray of the sun and to turn it into that of what would be not unlike a laser, as opposed to differentiating out the light because it is through the laser that we have been directed, at this point, that we can be most effective. You will find from your backgrounds and your traditions and your readings that you will also have read of other ways of doing things, and again those are wonderful ways, meaningful ways; and we recognize we are not about all things, as meaningful as they are. We have found that we take our energy, we focus it, and we put it behind a way. So in this solar temple, we do bring in the energies of the temple of the moon. We use them in a relationship with the power of the solar sword, and so in that understanding, I will let Eushahn come forth.

Question: Is this going to bring us more in touch with at-one-ment? Answer: What does that mean? It is a state where consciousness is rarified, is sanctified in a different way, in vibration, and in that state of at-one-ment, we will see through beyond the veils of our sense of separation which in one way is at-one-ment. It is a conceptualization on the level of a human being. It is a yearning perhaps from the level of aspiration and desire. It is a focus of the will. What we have been directed in this year of study (which I find it no surprise given that we are in the sign of Virgo and we are in the place of the gestation of the solar seeds have been planted in the womb), we are in a nine-month span in which these seeds will grow embryonic until they take on the time in which they are to be birthed into the world.

Each seed is unique to each and every person here. And is there one seed? No, there are many seeds just as there are many solar seeds that blow in the Cosmos. For each seed is that of the One and yet comes to you in its uniqueness because of you. It is up to you what you do with it. Do you nurture it? Do you place it in soil where it will be fertile? Or do you place it on top of the barren rock?

And so it is in this seed that has been planted in this month, in this time of Virgo, that you will carry through you, with you, around you, with your intention, your desire, your actions, your words, your thoughts. We will take this seed. We will celebrate this seed in the trimester. You will take that which you gather in wisdom in these first two classes of protocol that you will know intention, that you will know the use, that you will use your hands consciously for they are your purpose, they are your passes. You will use your word with intent, for that is the mantra. Speak the spoken word. That is creativity. You will use these things and more. You will learn that of the use of this body consciousness. You will use it as a guardian and as a gateway simultaneously. And you will stand before the gods and the goddesses, not as equal, for you are not, no, but as one to be equal and beyond. You will stand on bended knee, one knee only, for that is humility and that is also the ability to rise up and beyond.

That is the first trimester, and upon the entering of the second time, you will learn of the true understanding of the Christ that you carry. Beyond that of your theologies and your limitations and your boxes, your illusions, you will come to know as deep as the courage as you choose to take it the true understanding of the solar word and the power of the solar energies that you carry in this body of the moon. And upon the sixth time, you will be touched, and you will touch, and then you will enter the mysteries of the nine gates, and how to walk through the nine gates in consciousness to know thyself, not just this realm, for I will share with you, it is not of seven, for seven is of your range; it is of nine that will take you to this solar system and beyond. And upon that of the ninth, you will birth that of which you have carried, and be it light and vibrant, it is of your choice, for it is of your will that will make it so. And I will share with you now. You are here only because it will be so; it will only be because you will sow, for you would not walk through these gates if it were not so. You would not sit upon this ground. You would not raise your heart. It will be so and greater still, for you carry the hope; you carry the dream; you carry the glory; you carry the manifestation. Does that answer you question?


Eushahn: As we work with protocol, what we are working with is a way to establish a link that is already there. As we began in the beginning as all of you know and will remember, we began as a spark of light in the mind or creative essence of the creator. As we manifested down and created a soul body and through that soul body a series of physical bodies and emotional bodies and mental bodies which we call personalities, we moved through myriads of lifetimes gaining experience. We had to believe and think and know, and yet not fully know, that what we were going through was true and complete existence. And so for all of us, as we walked through myriad and myriad of lifetimes, we believed that this physical body that we are using, the emotional body, and the mental is who and what we are, and that beyond that there is a divine creator and under its auspices we move down here. And so we forgot the connection.

We are now on the return trip, and throughout ages ritual has been a form to reconnect us and let us remember who and what we are. Who and what we are is beyond the physical, emotional, and mental. When you think thoughts, that is not the soul itself. The soul is that aspect of self that is behind the thoughts and the mind and perceives all. It is expansive. That is what we are seeking to unite with and become more complete with. In that process, as we have stepped, one step upon the other and walked lifetime after lifetime, we have created for ourselves, through our learnings and through our mis-takes or mis-learnings, what we call samskaras in the Eastern tradition, which are simply psychic energy blocks that we have set up for ourselves, that we collect each time we move into incarnation so that we can unravel them when we are ready to move on the return trek and gain the complete understanding that we need to know who and what we actually are.

What we are doing here in this process is seeking to put ourselves in a more isolated, more purified place where we connect more with the higher part that we are, that part beyond thought in a more purified and rarified form that seeks to be less disturbed by what I just called samskaras or those little things that come up in our lives that we have to learn as lessons. It is as we step one step after another, our karma learned what it is we have been creating for myriad of lifetimes. And it is those samskaras that help to dictate what it is we experience and draw into our lives and have happen to us. When we reach the place where we are ready to become once again open to who and what we are, and, as some say, remember who we are, although there is still a part of us who has never forgotten, at that point in time, it is very helpful if we can go into that very quiet meditative place and begin to experience the openness and expanse of who we are. It is to this form that we move into ritual. It is to this form that we move into meditation. But we are not here to learn to be ritualists or to learn how to be perpetual meditators. They are only tools to help us to realize who and what we are.

In that respect, when you step into that place where the openness and expanse is, and from a show of hands, how many have felt at some time in your life that time when there was an open, enlightened expanse when you realized you were much bigger than this small vehicle we reside in. That’s good. It is in that place that you are free from the samskaras if for only an instant. It is in that space that you have the ability when you come back into this confined and restricted vehicle that we have chosen for this lifetime to be able to look at the samskaras as they come up in our lives, examine them for what they are, and as they no longer serve us, allow them to be discarded so that we become more whole and more complete. And as that process happens, the first key for all of us is to realize the perfection that is in all of us. For each of you out here and myself in here and all of us together are already perfect. And realizing that perfection, realizing that expanse of consciousness is our first step. The second step is to be able to look in the eyes of all those we meet and see that same perfection. The third step is to see perfection in all creation, and that is our goal. That’s where we are headed, and when we know that as a complete and open fact, and it is we as well as everything else around us, we have reached our goal.

The first things we are going to begin to look at is how we go into setting up those sacred spaces, how we can create those sacred places so we have a place to go to that is open where we can find a more enlightened place to be until, within the vehicles that we are, we are that enlightened place manifested here on this realm. The first thing we are going to work with right now is moving into our altar space and opening up. As I share this with you, I am sharing it the way we would do it here, but I would also share with you as you are fortunate enough to go into other sacred spaces, watch the devotees that walk before you. Whatever it is they do, follow suit and do the same, for they are opening up in the way they have been trained to that spiritual leader in the way they have been trained. If you are there to discover what they have discovered, you follow suit.

When we first come in for ritual form, we come in processional form. The purpose of the procession and the music is to put us in a state of mind that we have above that which we have in our normal waking hours. The processional music we use here is usually one of two different songs that we utilize, sometimes a third, and the reason we utilize those particular three is because they put you in a state of mind, and after you have heard them a time or two you will go to that place. When you move with a group of people used to already going there, you will find you go there just by being part of a group with them whether it be in this space or in any other. So as we go in, we move in a reverent fashion forward to the altar.

Your own altar and home and this altar here are set up for various purposes. We see this as the home of the creator although everything is the home. Your own altar needs to be set up so that if works for you, and we will go into specifics in how to set up an altar in details in the next class.

When we come to the altar what we are doing is coming a reverent form, and we are opening our heart. As you bow you are opening your heart to whoever or whatever that altar is bringing in for you. The second thing we do in ritual, depending on who the facilitators are that are here bringing in various beings to work within the ritualistic forms, we open our hearts to them, too. We do it by bowing first to whoever’s sanctuary it is; if others are here, they would be recognized in order according to rank. That is the procedure we would follow.

After we have acknowledged the altar and the individuals who might be working with us here, then we move to our seats, and we would remain standing unless we have a physical need to be seated. If so, then be seated; if not, you would stand in reverence until you were given the signal to sit down. At that point the key is to still the body, for it is the body that seeks to distract as well as the emotions and the mental. What we are seeking to do is go beyond all three of those in our experience in ritual to the deepest extent that we can. So we sit in a quiet fashion. Again, follow what you see depending on whose temple you are going into. Here your hands would be directed down into your lap, or if you were receiving energy, they would be in your lap palm up. The next thing we will go into will be the intent of the ritual, and that would be explained by whoever is presiding over the ritual at that point in time.

What we are going to now is a slight shift, but it is something you will be utilizing in your own ritualistic forms. It is what we call the banishing ritual. The function of this is basically to clear space that is not clear at the present time. When I talked earlier, I said we came down into this physical realm, and to do so we must restrict and confine that part of us that is the soul essence in order to experience this life experience. As that happens, we are constricted on various planes on various levels depending on our degree of proficiency. Each of those levels has various means on which we work. We work on all of those levels consciously or unconsciously all the time.

The first is the physical level, the one you are most familiar with right now. The second is the emotional level. On the emotional level, also referred to as the astral plane, are multiple levels of vibrations and frequencies that form and function in order to hold this existence that we perceive right here in place, as well as the vibrations and emotions that we deal with on a constant basis. So everything that exists here has its counterpart and is supported on the astral level, on all the planes on the astral level. At the same time the levels on the astral are from the highest levels which you would call the angelic down to the lowest levels which are that part just before you hit solidity, but in those levels are also various planes of vibration that may not be as conducive to the state that we are talking about.

How many of you have ever walked into a place or a room, and you just didn’t feel comfortable there? It didn’t feel good. Something was wrong. You are touching in on those lower astral levels, and they are not in harmony with who and what you are. Or if you come into a place that is highly evolved and you happen to be in a very angry state or a grumpy state, you will not feel comfortable in a place that is elevated at a higher level unless you are willing to let go of the lower level to surface there.

What we are going to work with right this moment is called the banishing ritual. It has several uses. It will be used in your ritualistic meditation form that we will go over a little later. It can also be used when you go into a strange place that you haven’t been before in order to clear it of the lower psychic energies that may not be conducive with who and what you are. If you go into a hotel room and there have been other individuals sleeping there, it is a good idea to go ahead and clear that room before you actually decide to inhabit it and sleep there. What that will do for you is help you maintain your own vibration rather than taking on the vibration of those individuals who have been there before. The banishing ritual is one way to do this. I am going to make a five-pointed star using a blue-white light. I take a ritualistic stance which lets spirit know I am in that mode which puts me in alignment with the higher part of me. I would begin with an opening prayer, and then I would do the banishing itself. Left foot forward, right foot 450 behind me. Do this in ritualistic fashion around the quarters. But make this work for you.

The next part is to do the qabalistic cross. What that means is "Thou art the power and the glory forever and every." When you do that in the hotel, it is a good idea to do it quietly. Once you know it, you can do it in your mind. It doesn’t have to be done verbally. After I have made the circle, and the room is set to be cleared. The next thing I would do is clear the beds whether I had two beds or one. Go to the first bed; create for yourself a container. I would see a violet-flame box to your left. Create it in your mind. Zadkiel is the archangel in charge of that, and it will take all the negativity you put in it and transmute from it into a neutral state. You take the energy from the bed in three progressions. Breathe in as you take it in; exhale as you take it out. (sweeping motions with your hands. Then shake your hands clear.) Clear the other bed. Close with a closing prayer calling in whomever you see and want to be in your space. (Creator, guides, teachers, etc.) Make the prayer work for you. Basically what you have done is sanctified the room and set the energies in higher tones so you won’t be sleeping in someone else’s energies because they will affect you with time. Any questions?

Example of Prayer: O divine and infinite one, I give you thanks and call you forth here to bless this space. Allow the light and love and power to fill this space and all who are within it during our stay. So be it.

You want to make sure when you clear a space that is not your own that you put a time limit on it. Others who come after you may not share your views, may not be conducive to the energy you set up, so set it up for the time you are going to be there so it will keep it safe, keep it clean, keep it protected, and when you leave it dissipates itself. Sometimes a maid, etc., will be coming in to clean, but it will usually hold for the time you set. Occasionally you may have to refresh it a bit. Be aware of that. If someone with a very negative energy has changed those beds, you may feel it; be aware of that.

When you are in a hotel room, you may choose to do portable altars. The next thing I want to talk about is presenting various spiritual tools you choose to use. This is usually things on your altars but may be others. When you present something, you are asking that item you are about to present to be used in a special sacred way, and from that point on you should use it and honor it as a sacred item. When we present things, we present them to the four quarters. The four quarters represent the directions, and we call in the archangels that are in charge of each of the directions. The reason we do this is that in creation what happens is in the east when you are calling in Raphael move down through his realm to the bottom of his realm which is air. That is how creation begins. Then we go from there to the west. The west is the element of water. When you look at the creative process, it is the third one down. But we skip fire because that happens to be the base we work with in this sanctuary and the last to be recognized. In the element of water, as you look at the creative process, it has moved down through air, then it has moved on down to fire, then it goes to water. Water is cool; things contract in water. They begin to take on a solidity and form. This is the place you can see things. If you are on the astral plane in water, things look very similar to the way they look right here except they still have a slight flexibility and pliability to them. So we are offering it to Gabrielle. Then we move to the north to the realm of Uriel and the element of earth. Earth takes on what we call ether and then down into the physical levels and move down to solidity. Again, that is where you have solidity itself. Malkuth, if you are dealing with the tree of life. Then we go to fire, and we present it to fire. Fire itself is hot and expansive. When you think of fire, it is all encompassing.

What happens when we are in the creative process is the thought comes down that there is something that wants to be created. All the possibilities that exist of how that creation can happen are in fire. Fire is the most expansive. When it comes down to water, it contracts, and you are solidifying whatever it is you are creating to a form it is about to take in the physical realm. When you come down to earth, you are actually taking it into solid form matter itself. When we present something to the four elements, we are blessing it and sanctifying it with the highest degree in each of those elements and presenting it to the archangel in charge of those elements, and then we ground it to the earth. We present all things used on an altar or to be used in a sacred way. As I mentioned earlier, you want to treat it as a sacred item. If it reaches a place where it has served its purpose and no longer is to be used as a sacred item, it needs to be blessed and released accordingly, depending on what it is you have presented. If it is a material object of some sort, you need just to release it with a short prayer. If it is flowers or incense, or something of that type, you need just to release it in whatever way is appropriate.

Aeptha: Become aware of your bodies. Don’t collapse into it. If you are into heat, we are not going to spontaneously combust. Become aware of what is happening in your bodies, but do not identify with it. There is a difference. Most of us have a difficult time where we take it into identity. I latch onto it; I hold onto it, etc. or we are completely disassociated with it. I am not around; I have nothing to do with it. We are looking at the Middle Pillar. It is the life force, but it is also associated with the etherization of the blood where the blood becomes etherized with the power and the potency of the Christ and therefore it too has changed and carries with it the redemption of matter.

Eushahn: This clearing is one way. It is very efficient and does a very good job. It is for clearing your whole house. When we clear, a couple of things to note. You will be able to watch a group of four do a clearing of this room so you will know how to do it. First, determine a central location you can work from. Clear that central room first. Then move out to the other rooms of the house so that you work systematically back to the original room. If you have pets, or children, or anyone else in the room, it is best that you clear a room and have them in the room that has been cleared. When you clear, one of the things that will happen is that you are accumulating things, thought forms, energies or whatever, along the way, and you are going to be self-containing them in a glass of water. At the same time, you are going to move any unwanted beings or entities from that particular room to the next room until you get to the final room. There are beings of a lower level that do not know that they can go through windows, walls, or doors. So you need to have in the last room you are working with an open door or window so that all those you would choose to have leave will leave.

If the four volunteers will come up, we will begin. Have all of your items ready and already have been presented. You need a glass glass of water, something you can smudge with, a lighted candle, and sea salt, finer or coarser grains. After you have assembled your items in one place, charge each one and set it up to do the job it does. To build energy, move in a clockwise fashion. To remove energy, that which is no longer wanted, move in a counter clockwise fashion. Move in counter clockwise direction, hold the object in your non-dominant had, and sweep energy with the dominant hand. When you do this in the beginning, you will do it physically and mentally but probably will not have a great deal of sensation. After you have done it for a while, you will begin to sense, smell, or even taste as you clear. When you clear, you bring in whatever you are getting, do not let it into your body, put it in the water as you exhale. You will actually clear the hand as you leave each room.

Go around the room with water, then incense. Sage is excellent. Then go with sea salt which has been charged to go out for 100 feet. It will hold that charge and keep it for a long, long time. When you are doing your own space, do it indefinitely. In someone else’s space, put a time limit on it. Then sanctify the space with the candle itself. Watch as the four demonstrate according to the directions on your hand out. After the clearing, you want to cleanse yourself. We talked about the violet flame box. Create it and physically get everything out of your hands and arms as you inhale.

If you are clearing pets, most animals can clear themselves. Be careful not to make them sick with the incense.

The Lord’s Prayer is a magical prayer and holds a magical formula. Do not let any preconceived ideas you have about Christianity get in the way. When you say Amen you are bringing down power and force into life itself. Take off your jewelry unless it is consecrated jewelry.

Some higher-level magical works put a circle of salt or rice outside the magical workings. It is said that some of the lower level beings will start counting the rice or the salt and lose count and have to start over again. Salt is necessary for human life. You cannot live without salt.

If you find yourself in negative moods or depressed, you probably need to clear your home. If it has never been cleared, do it now. At times you are doing a special kind of ceremony that you have a pristine purpose, you might want to clear. What we do here is we clear before and after every ceremony. This formula then is used to keep stuff out but also for an intent to clean the slate for a purpose.

You will be seeing stances and arm positions. The stances are purposeful. Magically when you take a stance you are holding a particular point of energy. You will see most of the time your stance will be with your left foot forward and right foot back. It is a stance associated with forward motion. You are saying to spirit I am moving forward and upward. It is also a position of perfect balance. You are also in a state of openness. There are reasons for the stances. When we are approaching the gates of magic, we are saying by our position, "we are holding levels of energy", we are saying " I come in peace," "I come with the intention of going forward," "I come here in mobility." There is nothing that happens in ritual that does not have a reason behind it. When you are sitting in ceremony with your palms down, that is the God-form. You are self-contained. When your palms are up, you are open to the universe. Your arm positions create energy passes in the magical ceremony. When you open your arms, you open your heart. When you bow, you are moving the energies up. You are moving the cerebral spinal up to the base of the skull where you make contact with spirit.

You use energy in ceremony as needed. You take the energy that is needed for what you need. When you are calling in the beings we are calling in, they will come. They are not here to dilly-dally but to do magical work, not stroke your ego. They will come in and surround you with the sacred twelve. You will do your work consciously; you will do your work with intent. When you are finished, you license them to depart because you are taking the responsibility to license them to depart, to give them freedom. Spirit is not personal; it is not about personality. It is here to do its job.
